Thompson Huston Apparel are a corporate wear and specialist company clothing supplier based in Northern Ireland. As a progressive company we are determined to minimise the effect our activities have on the environment.
Environmental Responsibility
We are conscious of the effect that the clothing industry has had on the environment and the lives of some of the workers involved.
To this end we endeavour to keep our carbon footprint to a minimum. Specifically this involves:
Using the most carbon friendly methods of moving goods i.e. not flying goods unless absolutely necessary.
Working with suppliers as close to the UK or within the UK if possible.
Social Responsibility
We only work with suppliers who, at the very least, adhere to employment guidelines within the country of origin
We never work with suppliers who we have not personally visited and seen the conditions and work practices involved and to this effect, we work with a small group of suppliers who we can effectively monitor
Under no circumstances would we work with a supplier who in any way exploited workers or used child labour.
